Welcome to Anne MacPherson Photography based in the Highlands of Scotland.
Having been brought up on a family farm surrounded by animals, my two main passions in life are livestock and photography. Being very actively involved in the breeding, husbandry, training and preparation of pedigree cattle and sheep for shows and sales since a young age, I have learnt to pay attention to detail, be creative, and most importantly I think, to be understanding and patient....... all things that I believe I have brought into my long term hobby of photography.
Animals, whether pets, wildlife or livestock, are all very individual and I try to capture their characters in my pictures.
I am available to take promotional photographs of livestock, "Pet Portraits" of those special friends, or to attend agricultural shows and local events to record the day in photographs. I try to capture both the fun, and serious moments as they happen!
Since 2009 I have become more involved in Wedding and Family photography, both as the main photographer and assisting. I work as unobtrusively as possible to capture the memories of the day.
